The Risks of Facial Aesthetic treatments
Risks associated with these non-surgical treatments are rare. It is important to be aware that there is likely to be some tenderness, swelling or bruising around the treated area. However, this will settle down after a couple of days.
The likelihood of serious risks occurring is very rare with these treatments. Clients should, however, be aware that they could occur. Risks such as infection, scarring, filler moving away from treatment area and blocked blood vessels are unlikely but should be discussed before beginning a course of treatment. Fortunately, these can be dealt with quickly if they occur.
It is important to only receive these treatments from an approved UK registered healthcare professional.
Those who wear make-up should avoid applying it for 24 hours following the completion of a treatment and may wish to only apply it lightly for several days after.
How Many Sessions Are Required?
Clients will have an initial consultation with one of the team to ensure that we are working together to produce the benefits they require. This will give them the opportunity to ask any questions and be given all the vital information.

Clients will see benefits of the treatment in just one session! As these procedures are non-permanent it is recommended that clients return 4 times a year to ensure that their skin stays rejuvenated. The sessions are quick, each session can take between 30-45 minutes, and you will be able to go back to work that day.
Treatment sessions can be offered in smaller and more regular formats for those clients who may have a slight fear of injections or who may be nervous about the outcome of the treatment.
We aim to keep our clients as happy and comfortable as we can during the process.
Non-Surgical Treatments vs. Surgical Treatments
Non-surgical treatments have many benefits. For one thing, you return to work on the same day with few obvious signs of any treatment.
The procedure is non-invasive and there is a short recovery time so there’s no need to change you daily routine! Clients will not be put under general anaesthetic and there are no hospital stays or monitoring required post treatment.
The effects are not permanent, so if there are any issues and the client does not want to continue there are no nasty reversal surgeries to worry about.
While surgical treatments may last longer, non-surgical alternatives offer a good way to telling if you want to take the leap towards a more invasive procedure in the future. Of course, it also helps that non-surgical procedures are much cheaper!
